SNGPL disconnects six more meters, checks 60 meters

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) UFG Control Task Force intensified its crackdown against gas theft and disconnected six additional gas meters in various parts of the city.

According to details, three gas connections were disconnected after meters were found operating in reverse, while another three were disconnected for the unauthorized use of gas compressors.

During the operation, the task force also conducted door-to-door inspections of 60 consumers.

These measures are part of SNGPL’s ongoing efforts to curb gas theft, reduce unaccounted-for gas (UFG) losses, and ensure the provision of safe, reliable, and uninterrupted gas supply to all consumers.
