Son kills father in Lower Dir

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2026) In a deplorable act on Tuesday in Obo Tangi area of Asbanr, Lower Dir, a son killed his own father, while his brother narrowly escaped harm.

According to police, 86-year-old Khurshid Khan was critically injured in the incident and was rushed to Chakdara Hospital for medical treatment.

However, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

The local Asbanr Police arrested the accused, Hanif Khan, and registered a case against him on the complaint of his brother, Akbar Ali.
