LOWER DIR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) The district administration here, in collaboration with the Child Protection Unit, organized a special Eid ceremony for orphan children on Tuesday, distributing gifts to share the festive spirit ahead of the upcoming celebrations.
The event was held at Darul islam Orphanage Jandol and attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief and Human Rights) Syed Akram Shah, along with other administrative officers and child welfare officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Child Protection Officer Muhammad Tayyab said the initiative was part of ongoing efforts to support vulnerable children and ensure their inclusion in social and cultural activities.
The officials highlighted that such events aim to foster a sense of belonging among orphan children while reinforcing the government’s commitment to their welfare, protection, and future development.
The participants appreciated the role of the orphanage management and reiterated their resolve to continue joint efforts for improving the lives of underprivileged children and providing them with a safe and supportive environment.
