Speeding vehicle overturns in Kotli, couple among dead

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jun, 2026) A couple lost their lives and several others were injured when a speeding vehicle overturned at Mohli Pul in Kotli on Saturday morning after its brakes reportedly failed.

According to details, the vehicle was travelling from Lahore to Kotli when it met with a fatal accident at Mohli Pul

after its brakes failed, causing it to overturn, local news channel reported.

Rescue teams and police immediately reached the site and carried out relief operations, shifting the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The bodies of the deceased were also moved to the hospital, while authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
