SRB achieves record revenue collection of Rs 370 bn in FY26 registering 20% growth

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jul, 2026) Sindh Revenue board (SRB), Wednesday, claimed achieving its highest-ever yearly revenue collection of Rs 370.06 billion during Fiscal Year 2025-26, registering 20.17% overall growth compared to Rs 307.93 billion collected in FY 2024-25.

The collection under Sindh Sales Tax (SST), according to a SRB statement, reached Rs 344.6 billion in FY 2025-26, rising 21.2% over the previous year's collection of Rs 284.38 billion while collection under the Sindh Workers' Welfare Fund (SWWF) /Sindh Companies Profits Workers' Participation Fund (SWPF) increased by 10 % to Rs 24.44 billion in FY 2025-26 from Rs 22.25 billion in last FY. The collection of newly assigned Agricultural Income Tax (AIT) exceeded Rs one billion in FY26, it added.

In June, 2026, SRB concluded the financial year on a strong note with the highest ever monthly collection of Rs 45.08 billion, depicting 28% growth as compared to Rs 35.15 billion collection during May 2026.

SRB attributed the impressive performance despite the adverse impact of the regional conflict, slow economic growth and other factors to the hard work and unwavering dedication of its workforce besides the support from the Government of Sindh and the trust and cooperation by taxpayers.

The SRB reiterated the determination to accelerate the momentum of revenue growth in FY 2026-27 while meeting the challenges of broadening the tax base, enhancing voluntary compliance and accelerating digital transformation in tax administration.
