SRSO-Brooke Pakistan team conducts plantation drive at Khairpur brick kilns

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) The Sindh Rural Support Organisation–Brooke Pakistan Equine Welfare Project team, along with the SRSO District Khairpur Natural Resource Management (NRM) team, carried out plantation and awareness activities under the ongoing Spring 2026 drive at various brick kilns and workplaces in Khairpur Mirs district.

The activities included tree plantation drives and community awareness campaigns highlighting the importance of plantation for environmental improvement. The initiative encouraged local participation and contributed to positive environmental change in the area.

Over 100 fruit and local tree saplings were planted with equine welfare project communities at brick kilns and their homes in Thehri, Sobo Dero, Tando Masti and Naro Dharo.
