SRSO teams conduct outreach in Kashmore Kandhkot to boost girls’ enrollment

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th May, 2026) The teaching team of SRSO managed EMO RFP-7 schools on Friday held community outreach sessions at Govt High School Sardaro Khoso and Government High School Gahno Khoso in Kashmore Kandhkot district to encourage girls’ enrollment and retention.

During the sessions, teachers visited households and community sitting areas to mobilize parents to send their children to school. The outreach focused on highlighting the importance of education in rural areas, particularly for girls.

Officials said the role of the community, especially mothers, is critical in reducing dropout rates and keeping girls connected with schools. The sessions were held as part of ongoing efforts to improve attendance and awareness in rural communities under the School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh.
