SSP initiates inquiry into harassment allegations of female cop

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2026) A female police constable has levelled allegations of harassment on her male colleagues posted at Bhitai Nagar police station in Hyderabad.

The police spokesman informed here on Sunday that SSP Shahzaib Chachar while taking notice of lady constable Shahzadi Mallah's allegations had formed an inquiry committee headed by Sub Divisional Police Officer Cantt Paras Bakhrani.

He added that the SSP had directed the SDPO to ensure a timely and transparent investigation.

Mallah had blamed the station's SHO and other policemen for harassment and inappropriate behavior.
