SSP Larkana chairs meeting to review law and order situation

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Larkana, Ahmed Chaudhry (QPM, PSP), chaired a meeting of Larkana Police on Monday to review the overall law and order situation in the district.

During the meeting, various departmental matters were thoroughly examined, including police performance, crime statistics, and ongoing targeted and intelligence-based operations. Reported crimes for March 2026 were also discussed in detail.

The agenda focused on ensuring the arrest of individuals involved in social and organized crimes, including narcotics dealers and those operating gambling and obscenity dens. Emphasis was also placed on the arrest of proclaimed offenders, absconders, and other active criminals. Progress in pending cases, particularly crimes against property, was reviewed, along with recovery efforts.

SSP Ahmed Chaudhry issued directives to further accelerate action against drugs and other social evils. He stressed the importance of timely investigations and ensuring that registered cases are brought to their logical conclusion.

He stated that effective action against criminals should reinforce public confidence in the police, assuring citizens that the Larkana Police remain committed, vigilant, and proactive in curbing crime and protecting the community.

He further emphasized that the police must demonstrate through their work that perpetrators of crime are being brought to justice.

The meeting was attended by SDPOs, SHOs, Traffic Sergeants, Assistant 15 in-charges, and heads of various branches from across the district.
