SSP Qazi reviews security at churches in capital

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Jun, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza visited various churches in the Federal capital and reviewed security arrangements to ensure safety of worshippers and religious congregations.

An official told APP on Sunday that the SSP Operations inspected security measures at different churches and reviewed deployment of police personnel assigned to security duties.

Qazi met officers on duty and directed them to remain vigilant and perform their responsibilities with professionalism and dedication.

He instructed police personnel to ensure effective security arrangements, maintain strict monitoring of the surroundings and respond promptly to any suspicious activity.

SSP emphasized that protection of places of worship and ensuring a peaceful environment for all communities remained among the top priorities of Islamabad Police.

Qazi said Islamabad Police was utilizing all available resources to maintain law and order and provide a secure atmosphere for citizens across the federal capital.
