FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) Managing Director Suthra Punjab Agency Abid Hussain Bhatti has said that a landfill site is being established to dispose of garbage according to modern scientific techniques, which will have a capacity to dispose of 1100 tons of garbage daily.

He expressed these views during a visit to the proposed site in Lakhuana here on Friday. Project Director Punjab Municipal Development Funds Company Ahsan Bella and others accompanied him.

The MD directed the contractors to complete the layout plan as soon as possible. He said that work on the project should be started as soon as possible according to the approved design to complete the project within the stipulated time frame.
