Students competition honours armed forces victory in Marka e Haq

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) Students from across the region participated in a patriotic youth festival on Wednesday, featuring speech, tableau, and national song competitions.

The event, hosted by the Punjab Council of the Arts in collaboration with the All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association (APPSMA), aimed to foster national unity and positive thinking among the younger generation.

Shazia Rizwan, Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture Punjab, during her address as chief guest emphasized the importance of such cultural platforms in nurturing talent and strengthening national identity.

"The youth are the cornerstone of our society", she said while praising the creative skills displayed by students from various private educational institutions.

She also paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces, saying that the military remains a symbol of national security and defense. She referenced the bravery and professional competence of the army, stating the nation stands side-by-side with its troops during challenging times.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prizes and certificates to students who demonstrated outstanding performance in their respective categories.

The event saw a large turnout, including teachers, parents, and figures from various walks of life.
