LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) An important survey report has been released based on the two-year performance of the Punjab government, according to which a large number of people have expressed satisfaction with the government's measures.
This survey report was released by the Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR), which included the opinions of citizens across the province.
According to the report, 69 percent of people expressed confidence in the leadership of the Chief Minister, while the same percentage considered Punjab's development as progress in the right direction.
The performance of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was also positively appreciated in the survey, where 32 percent of people called it "outstanding" while 31 percent called it "good".
In terms of political popularity, the PML-N received 42 percent public support in the survey.
Among government projects, the "Suthra Punjab Program" topped with 33 percent, while women's welfare and protection were rated as prominent by 30 percent, public transport by 29 percent, and the education sector by 27 percent.
Furthermore, 26 percent of the participants appreciated the law and order situation, while 25 percent appreciated the improvement in infrastructure.
In terms of age, 69 percent of people between the ages of 18 and 40 expressed positive views on the government's performance.
Similarly, 56 percent of people have expressed satisfaction with sanitation and local government services.
