BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) The authorities and citizens paid rich tributes to cleaners and staff of the Bahawalpur Waste Management Authority for cleanliness campaign.

Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza visited Khanqah area under Chief Minister Punjab’s “Suthra Punjab” (Clean Punjab) initiative.

Accompanied by the Suthra Punjab team, he conducted a detailed inspection of the washing and cleaning operations being carried out on major roads as part of the cleanliness campaign.

During the visit, he reviewed the road-cleaning process being undertaken with modern machinery and water bowsers, using rose water and cleaning chemicals.

The deputy commissioner directed the concerned officials to ensure the complete removal of dust and dirt from roads so that citizens can enjoy a clean, healthy, and pleasant environment.
