FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Nasir said that the district administration and Suthra Punjab teams remained fully active across Faisalabad on second day of Eid-ul-Azha.
He visited Suthra Punjab Control Room and reviewed monitoring arrangements. He received a detailed briefing from Managing Director (MD) Suthra Punjab Abid Hussain Bhatti regarding the ongoing Eid cleanliness operation and disposal of sacrificial waste across the district.
The deputy commissioner said that all officers were present in the field to ensure timely collection and disposal of animal offal and maintain a clean environment for citizens during Eid days.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>He also inspected the process of timely transportation of sacrificial waste at the Canal Road Temporary Collection Point (TCP) and directed the operational teams to further accelerate the cleanliness campaign in all urban and rural areas.
Meanwhile, washing operations were launched in different localities of Ghulam Muhammad Abad to improve sanitation conditions and remove foul smell after disposal of sacrificial remains.
