Teen dies of electrocution, others injured in separate rain-related incidents in Attock

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) A 13-year-old boy was electrocuted while repairing an electrical appliance, while three other people, including two construction workers and a woman, sustained injuries in separate incidents reported from different parts of Attock district, police said on Friday.

According to police sources, 13-year-old Mustafa Ahmed died after suffering an electric shock while working on an electrical appliance at his home in Kharala village, within the jurisdiction of Fateh Jang Police Station.

He succumbed to the shock at the scene before any medical assistance could be provided. In another incident, two construction labourers were injured when the wall of an under-construction house collapsed in Dhak village, falling within the limits of Jand Police Station.

The injured were identified as 37-year-old Muhammad Farman and 19-year-old Mubashir Khan. They were shifted to a nearby healthcare facility for treatment, where their condition was reported to be stable.

Meanwhile, a 48-year-old woman sustained injuries after the roof of her house collapsed in Gulberg Town near Kamra following the recent heavy rains. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Hazro Police Station.

She was rescued by local residents and taken to hospital for medical treatment.Police have registered separate cases in all three incidents and launched investigations to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the accidents.
