Thieves loot school in Layyah,flee with fans,water pump

LAYYAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Jun, 2026) Unidentified thieves broke into Allama Iqbal Public High School in Ludhana area late Sunday night and escaped with electrical equipment,school sources said.

According to details,the intruders broke into the school premises and stole nine electric fans, a water pump and other supply equipment worth thousands of rupees before fleeing the scene.

Officials said efforts were underway to trace those involved and recover the stolen property.

Meanwhile,local notables have urged authorities to arrest the culprits and strengthen security at educational institutions in the area to prevent such incidents in future.
