Three arrested for gang rape of married woman

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) Rawat Police have arrested three individuals involved in the gang-rape of a married woman. The arrested persons include the driver and conductor of a private transportation along with their accomplice.

CPO Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani took immediate notice of the incident and ordered the swift arrest of the culprits.

According to the FIR, the suspects subjected the woman to rape inside the vehicle while she was going for shopping. The victim’s medical examination has been conducted and the vehicle used in the crime has been taken into police custody. The victim’s mother-in-law and sister-in-law have also been included in the investigation.

SP Saddar Anam Sher stated that the accused will be challaned in court with solid evidence and exemplary punishment will be ensured.
