Three criminal gangs busted, four arrested

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) Police have arrested four suspects involved in robbery, motorcycle theft, and other theft related cases, dismantling three separate criminal gangs operating in different areas of the city.

According to police spokesperson, the operations were carried out as part of intensified efforts to curb street crime.

During the crackdown, police recovered two stolen and snatched motorcycles, cash amounting to Rs 67,000, a battery, a UPS, and weapons from the possession of the suspects.

Naseerabad Police arrested a two-member gang involved in multiple robbery incidents.

Authorities recovered a snatched motorcycle, Rs 22,000 in cash, and illegal weapons from their custody.

In a separate operation, Kallar Syedan Police apprehended the ringleader of a motorcycle theft and burglary gang. The police recovered a stolen motorcycle, Rs 15,000 in cash, along with a battery and UPS equipment.

Meanwhile, Ganjmandi Police conducted another successful raid, arresting the ringleader of a theft gang and recovering stolen cash worth Rs 30,000. Police official stated that all arrested individuals would be produced before the court with concrete evidence.
