Three dacoits held in injured condition after shootouts

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) The district police held three dacoits in injured condition after shootouts during the last 24 hours.

Police said here on Wednesday, the criminals were arrested within the limits of Saddar and Thikriwala police stations.

Two dacoits identified as Irfan and Sadam were nabbed after an encounter with police near Green Orchard in Saddar police limits, while one outlaw identified as Rafaqat was arrested from Thikriwala area.

Police recovered illegal weapons including a pistol, cell phones, motorcycle, and cash.

The injured dacoits were rushed to the hospital.

Police have initiated legal action against them.
