Three held for human smuggling

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore Zone on Thursday arrested

three suspects, including a proclaimed offender, involved in human smuggling

and visa fraud.

According to FIA spokesperson, the arrested suspects were identified

as Faisal Hussain, Nadeem Zia and Bashir Ahmad, who were apprehended

from different areas of Faisalabad and Nankana Sahib.

The accused defrauded citizens of more than Rs1.4 million by luring them

with promises of overseas employment visas.

One of the accused Bashir Ahmad was wanted by FIA Lahore for a long time.

Further investigation was underway.
