Three injured as van hits pedestrian,crashes into tree

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) Three people were injured in a road accident near the 3-Kassi area on Monday when a speeding carry van struck a pedestrian before crashing into a tree,officials said.

According to details,the van traveling from Multan to Vehari hit a pedestrian and then went out of control,colliding with a roadside tree.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene and shifted the injured to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for treatment.

The injured were identified as Jahangir(45) r/o 3-Kassi,Asim(42) and Noreen(40) r/of Vehari.

Further investigation was underway.
