Three lose lives in separate road, drowning incidents in Attock

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) Three people lost their lives in separate accidents, including two drowning incidents, in different areas of Pindigheb tehsil on Saturday, according to police and hospital sources.

In the first incident, a motorcyclist was killed in a road accident near Kharrapa Interchange within the jurisdiction of Pindigheb Police Station. Police said that Shoaib Ahmed was riding his motorcycle when a speeding car, allegedly driven recklessly, collided head-on with him. He sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.

In a separate incident, a 16-year-old boy, identified as Hafiz Muhammad Shahmir, drowned while bathing in Sahwal Dam located in Kamrail village.

According to sources, the teenager had gone to the mini dam with others for recreation when he accidentally slipped into deep water and could not be rescued in time.

Meanwhile, another man, Waseem Ramzan, drowned in a mini dam in Dhoke Laham. Local volunteers launched a rescue effort and later recovered his body, which was handed over to the family for burial. Police have registered separate cases in all three incidents and initiated investigations into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
