TUF pays glowing tribute to Pak armed forces during Marka-e-Haq seminar

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) The University of Faisalabad (TUF) paid glowing tribute to the unprecedented sacrifices, bravery and professional excellence of Pakistan Armed Forces during a special seminar held at the university campus to commemorate first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq victory.

A large number of faculty members and female students participated in the event organised jointly by the Department of Islamic Studies and Department of English to promote the spirit of national unity, patriotism, collective responsibility and Islamic values of brotherhood and harmony.

Speaking on the topic of “Role of Youth in National Stability and Collective Strength”, guest speaker Dr Anam Hameed emphasized the vital role of youth in strengthening Pakistan through moral values, unity, Islamic teachings and social harmony.

She said that the bravery, courage and sacrifices demonstrated by Pakistan Armed Forces during Marka-e-Haq against the enemy were unparalleled and had become a source of pride and inspiration for the entire nation.

Dr Anam Hameed urged the young generation to play an active role in promoting national solidarity, peace and social cohesion to ensure a stable and prosperous future for the country.

During ceremony, female students presented patriotic songs and national anthems which created an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, patriotism and emotional attachment with the homeland among the participants.

The participants reiterated their commitment that the entire nation remained united for the progress, peace and stability of Pakistan and was ready to render every possible sacrifice for the defense and prosperity of the motherland.

Later, a solidarity rally was also organized in which students and faculty members carried posters and placards inscribed with slogans expressing patriotism and solidarity with Pakistan Armed Forces.

The rally participants chanted slogans in favor of national unity and paid tribute to the martyrs and Ghazis for their sacrifices rendered for the protection and sovereignty of the country.

Later, special prayers were offered for elevation of the ranks of martyrs, continued peace and stability in Pakistan and prosperity of the nation.
