Two children killed, five injured in road accident

MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) A tragic road accident claimed the lives of two young children and injured five others after a speeding tractor-trolley collided with a rickshaw near Head Laskani in Tehsil Jatoi, according to Rescue 1122 officials.

The accident occurred when a fast-moving tractor-trolley rammed into a passenger rickshaw.

Consequently,two children, six-year-old Muhammad Husnain and seven-year-old Muhammad Saqlain, were crushed under the vehicle and died on the spot.

While five members of the same family sustained injuries including Muhammad Nazar (41), Khadija (35), Muhammad Shoaib (16), Muhammad Mubashir (13), and five-year-old Ayesha.

Rescue teams reached the scene promptly, provided first aid, and shifted the injured and the bodies to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital.

Police have taken the vehicle into custody and initiated legal proceedings, while further investigation was underway.
