Two killed, 342 injured in 269 traffic accidents in Lahore

Two people lost their lives while 342 were injured in 269 traffic accidents during the last 24 hour in the provincial metropolis on Friday

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) Two people lost their lives while 342 were injured in 269 traffic accidents during the last 24 hour in the provincial metropolis on Friday.

According to rescue officials, the accidents resulted in the death of two people and injuries to 342, of whom 114 seriously injured have been shifted to local hospitals for medical assistance.

Rescue officials said that 228 minor injured were provided first aid on the spot, while the accidents occurred due to speeding and violation of traffic rules.
