Two police personnel martyred in Quetta firing

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2026) Two police personnel were martyred by unknown armed men at Eastern Bypass area of provincial capital on Monday.

According to police sources, two eagle squad personnel were performing their duties near the Eastern Bypass area when armed assailants opened fire at them and fled from the scene.

As a result, both police personnel succumbed to their injuries after receiving multiple bullets. The victims were identified as Muhammad Noor and Muhammad Ayub.

After the incident, law enforcement agencies (LEAs) cordoned off the entire area and started investigation into the matter.
