Two 'robbers' arrested in injured condition

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) Two alleged robbers were arrested in injured condition during an alleged police encounter in Lari Adda area, while one of their accomplices managed to escape.

According to the police, when three suspects riding a motorcycle were signaled to stop, they allegedly opened fire on the police and tried to escape.

Police say that during the exchange of fire, two of the accused were injured by their own accomplice's firing, who were arrested, while the third accused escaped.

According to the police, the arrested and injured accused have been identified as Imran and Moon. Police claim that both the accused have a record in more than 60 incidents including robbery, ambush and snatching.

The police further said that four mobile phones, two pistols and a motorcycle have been recovered from the possession of the accused, while action is underway to arrest the absconding accused.
