Wafaqi Mohtasib provides relief to 23 applicants in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat’s Regional Office Faisalabad has provided timely relief to 23 applicants during current fiscal year till now which reflects its effective, transparent and public-friendly approach in addition to strengthen public confidence in the institution.

According to spokesman of Wafaqi Mohtasib Regional Office, the complaints received at the regional office were processed on priority basis and resolved strictly on merit, transparency and in accordance with legal requirements.

He said that several applicants were granted financial assistance through issuance of cheques. Some beneficiaries belong to Jhang district including Ali Abbas, Shazia Asghar, Abdul Waheed Anwar, Zareena Bibi and Ghulam Fatima whose cases were addressed promptly.

Similarly, some beneficiaries belong to Chiniot district including Rehmat Bibi, Bashiran Bibi, Daulat Bibi, Nasreen Bibi, Sonia Bibi, Humaira Awais, Muhammad Mansha, Farah Deeba, Sidra Bibi and Haleema Bibi who were also provided financial relief after due scrutiny of their applications, helping resolve their issues and ease their difficulties.

He said that Muhammad Adnan from Toba Tek Singh also received financial assistance while the cases of other applicants including Ms.

Alia Kousar, Mst. Asia Firdous, Mst. Rabia Jafri, Mst. Basri Bibi and Yasmeen Bibi were also handled with due attention and necessary guidance and facilitation were extended to ensure resolution of their concerns.

He said that most beneficiaries were provided financial assistance of Rs10,000 each while in a medical case, Ms. Shazia Asghar was granted Rs129,000, demonstrating the institution’s commitment to humanitarian support and prompt redressal of urgent matters.

He said that Faisalabad regional office resolved all cases in a professional manner, ensuring timely redressal of complaints. Special measures were taken to guide applicants, provide necessary information and facilitate them at every stage so that no citizen faced difficulty in obtaining rightful relief. The continuous monitoring and follow-up further ensured logical conclusion of cases, he added.

He said that the proactive and dynamic system of the Wafaqi Mohtasib continues to provide an accessible and reliable platform for redressal of public grievances against government departments while the performance of its Faisalabad regional office stands as a strong testament to its commitment to public service and institutional efficiency.
