WASA MD orders timely completion of development projects

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Ghufran Ahmad on Saturday ordered for further accelerating the pace of development projects.

An important review meeting was held under the chairmanship of WASA Managing Director.

Detail review of the weekly progress of Lahore Development Program Phase II projects was also carried out.

All directors and XENs (Executive Engineers) attended the meeting.

Directors gave comprehensive briefing on ongoing development works in various towns.

WASA MD ordered to ensure timely completion of all projects at all costs.

Ghufran Ahmad said that providing the best drainage system and facilities to citizens was the top priority of WASA Lahore.

He said that delay in resolving public complaints would not be tolerated and directed immediate resolution of the complaints.

He further directed to continue the desilting operation effectively according to the prescribed schedule.

WASA Managing Director ordered to give special attention to the cleaning of roadside drains.

He directed to ensure cleanliness and effective branding of all WASA vehicles.

He also emphasized that all workers should perform duties in uniform and maintain strong visibility in the field.

Ghufran Ahmad directed to ensure special monitoring regarding manhole covers.
