The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Ghufran Ahmed on Friday visited various parts of the city after the rain

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Apr, 2026) The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director Ghufran Ahmed on Friday visited various parts of the city after the rain.

During his visit, the MD reviewed drainage operations at Main Boulevard Gulberg, Kalma Chowk, Liberty Chowk, Usman Block Disposal, and Garden Town.

He issued instructions to ensure the complete sweeping of all roads and underpasses.

He also directed that machinery and generators be kept ready at all times.

Directions were given to ensure the timely resolution of citizens’ complaints under all circumstances. He emphasized that staff attendance and performance must be ensured, and that negligence would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

He further stated that providing relief to the public was the top priority of WASA Lahore, in line with the vision of the Punjab Chief Minister.
