ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Saturday said that “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos” was not merely an operation but a national ideology reflecting unity, sacrifice and unwavering commitment to Pakistan.

Addressing a ceremony held to mark the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq – Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos,” the IGP Rizvi said the Pakistani nation stood united like a “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” and would respond with greater strength against any hostile designs.

“We are Bunyan-un-Marsoos. Our life and death are for Pakistan and national unity,” he said.

Rizvi said the armed forces of Pakistan demonstrated unmatched professional capabilities during Marka-e-Haq and made the enemy realize Pakistan’s strength.

He said the enemy’s arrogance had been crushed and Pakistan had emerged as an unconquerable force.

The IGP Rizvi said Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force and all security institutions represented the true spirit of Bunyan-un-Marsoos.

Paying tribute to the military leadership, he said the armed forces achieved a historic success under the leadership of the Field Marshal.

Rizvi said the people of Pakistan were fully prepared to stand shoulder to shoulder with their armed forces and were filled with the spirit of sacrifice and patriotism.

He said the success of Marka-e-Haq would always be remembered like Eid in the nation’s history.

The IGP said Pakistan was rapidly emerging as a central power in the Muslim world.

“Every Pakistani youth, every daughter, every student and every police officer is Bunyan-un-Marsoos,” he remarked.

Delivering a strong message to hostile elements, the IGP warned that those conspiring against Pakistan should remain within their limits.

He said Islamabad Police, comprising over 11,000 personnel along with 4.4 million citizens of the Federal capital, stood firmly beside the armed forces of Pakistan.

“We are united, prepared and proud of Pakistan,” he added.
