White coat ceremony held at NM&DC Sargodha

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th May, 2026) A 'white coat' ceremony was held at Niazi Medical and Dental College (NM&DC), where 150 students from the eighth batch of MBBS and the fourth batch of BDS participated in the event.

A large number of teachers, parents, and distinguished guests also attended the ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by (NM&DC) board of Directors Chairman Professor Dr Abdul Ghafoor Niazi, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Syed Shoaib Hussain Shah, Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry, Principal Niazi Medical College Professor Dr Syed Haider Raza, Vice Principal Professor Dr Asif Zaman, Principal Niazi Dental College Dr Taimsab Faraz Tayyab, and Vice Principal Associate Professor Dr Farhan Riaz.

During the ceremony, white coats were presented to the students, symbolizing the beginning of their practical journey in the medical profession and their commitment to responsibility and service to humanity.

The students also took an oath, pledging to uphold honesty, dedication, high ethical values, and compassion in their professional careers.

Addressing the participants, the speakers said that the white coat is not merely a uniform but a symbol of trust, responsibility, and commitment to patient care.

On the occasion, NM&DC Chairman announced to establish AG University in Sargodha within two month.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the participants appreciated the college administration for organizing a successful and memorable event.
