Woman dies, another injured in road mishap

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Jun, 2026) A woman was killed while another received injuries when a bus

hit a motorcycle on national highway near Mauza Chachran area

on Sunday.

According to Rescue-1122, the accident happened at U-turn where

a rashly driven bus hit a motorcycle, as a result of which a woman

who has yet to be identified suffered head injuries and died on the spot.

While another woman identified as Fazeelat Mai (22) , resident of

Mouza Kheeri Zabti, Ahmedpur East suffered injuries.

Rescuers provided first aid and shifted the injured to THQ Hospital

Ahmedpur East for further treatment.
