City police have arrested a woman allegedly involved in drug trafficking under the cover of a grocery shop

KHANEWAL, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) City police have arrested a woman allegedly involved in drug trafficking under the cover of a grocery shop.

According to police sources, the suspect, identified as Farzana Bibi, had long been wanted for supplying narcotics and her arrest was considered a major challenge.

Working on a tip-off, SHO Zeeshan conducted a raid and apprehended the accused.

Police recovered 2,200 grams of hashish from her possession. Officials said the woman was running a drug business from her grocery store as a front. Further investigation is underway.
