Woman jumps off train, suffers multiple injuries

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Jun, 2026) A woman suffered critical wounds after she along with her four-year-old son

jumped from the moving train at Samma Satta railway station platform, some

10 km away from here on Sunday.

According to Rescue-1122, Tezgam Express was traveling from Karachi to

Rawalpindi and it was not scheduled to stop at Samma Satta Junction, as

the train slowed down speed, a woman jumped off the train along with her

child at the platform. The child remained completely unharmed, while the

woman sustained severe injuries in the incident.

Rescue personnel provided first aid at the scene and shifted the injured

to Bahawal Victoria Hospital for further medical treatment.

The injured was identified as 22-years-old Natasha, resident of Muza Uteera,

Kachi Wah, Samma Satta.
