Woman killed,two injured in road accident:

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) A woman was killed,while two other persons sustained serious injuries when a speeding dumper hit a rickshaw within the limits of Laksian Police Station in the Bhagtanwala area on Wednesday.

According to police sources, the victims were traveling from Laksian to Sial morr when a recklessly driven dumper hit their rickshaw from behind, resulting in the death of a woman identified as Safia Bibi.

Two other passengers, identified as Rashida Shehzadi and Fida Hussain, were critically injured in the collision and were immediately shifted to a local hospital.

The driver of the dumper managed to escape from the scene following the incident, police said.

Laksian Police have registered a case against the unidentified dumper driver and initiated a search to apprehend the accused.
