World saved from major disaster due to joint efforts of PM & military leadership: Karim

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Apr, 2026) Focal Person Prime Minister Youth Program (PMYP) Chaudhry Naeem Karim, on Wednesday, said that the world was saved from a major disaster due to the joint efforts of the Prime Minister and the military leadership.

Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has welcomed the ceasefire between Iran and the US and said that this development is a positive step towards peace and stability in the region.

In his statement issued here, he said that after the ceasefire announcement, Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir have emerged as heroes of the Islamic world and support all the decisions of the Federal government to establish peace.

He said that the world was saved from a major disaster due to the joint efforts of the Prime Minister and the military leadership. Pakistan played an important and effective role in establishing peace in the region by establishing a ceasefire between Iran and the US, which saved the country from a major disaster.

He said that positive and constructive diplomacy of the country has proven to be effective at the global level and Pakistan should receive the Nobel prize for promoting world peace and positive diplomacy.

He said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Field Marshal made efforts to stop the war between Iran and America and Allah Almighty made Pakistan a leader and the flag of the divine state of Pakistan was raised all over the world.

He said that due to Pakistan’s constructive diplomacy and wise leadership, tensions in the region are decreasing and the path to peace is being paved. We hope that the talks facilitated by Pakistan would end the war.

He said that a two-week ceasefire could become the basis for permanent peace, while Pakistan’s military and political leadership is committed to promoting global harmony and regional stability. He called the Islamabad talks an important step towards lasting peace.

He further said that Pakistan's role in promoting peace, stability and dialogue has always been prominent. This historic achievement is a reflection of Pakistan's bright and strong global identity. The world has been forced to recognize Pakistan's constructive and positive diplomacy.

Chaudhry Naeem Karim said that today every Pakistani could be proud that we saved humanity from a major disaster and Pakistan's peace plan is a golden chapter in the history of global diplomacy.
