WSSC intensifies cleanliness drive in various areas

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Mar, 2026) The Water and Sanitation Services Company (WSSC) Dera has continued its city-wide cleanliness drive with full momentum, removing heaps of garbage and waste from various areas to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.

According to the administration, sanitation staff are working daily across different neighborhoods, markets, and streets to provide citizens with a cleaner and healthier environment.

It adds that the aim of this campaign is not only to enhance the city’s appearance but also to promote public health.

The company has also appealed to residents to cooperate with the sanitation teams, dispose of waste at designated locations, and take responsibility for keeping their surroundings clean.

It is worth noting that this cleanliness campaign is being seen as an important step toward environmental improvement in the city at a time when intermittent rains have increased hardships for the residents.
