WSSC Kohat credits citizens’ cooperation for successful Eid cleanliness drive

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) The Water and Sanitation Services Company (WSSC) Kohat has expressed gratitude to citizens and stakeholders for their cooperation in the successful Eid-ul-Azha sanitation campaign across the city.

In this regard on Saturday, while exclusively talking to APP, Chairman board of Directors and Acting Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Saad appreciated the role of the public, business community, social organizations and media representatives in ensuring smooth waste management during the religious festival.

He said the sanitation operation was made successful due to the responsible behaviour of citizens and the timely disposal of sacrificial animal waste at designated points.

He added that effective coordination between the administration and the public played a key role in maintaining cleanliness standards throughout Eid days.

Muhammad Saad further stated that WSSC Kohat carried out prompt lifting of offal from across the city, along with lime sprinkling, disinfectant spraying and continuous monitoring of sanitation activities to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for residents during Eid-ul-Azha.
