Akram Ansari on Thursday said that Youm-e-Takbeer stood as a proud reminder of Pakistan’s
defensive strength, national confidence and collective resolve, urging the nation to further
strengthen the journey of unity, stability and development.
In a statement in connection with Youm-e-Takbeer, he said the entire nation was paying
tribute to its scientists, armed forces and national heroes whose unmatched services and
sacrifices made the country’s defense invincible.
He said that former prime minister and PML-N supremo Muhammad Nawaz Sharif made
a historic decision on May 28, 1998 by conducting six nuclear tests in response to India’s
five explosions, turning Pakistan into an unconquerable nuclear power and restoring strategic
balance in the region.
Hajji Akram Ansari said the landmark decision made Pakistan’s defense impregnable and
elevated the nation’s prestige with pride and honor across the world.

peace, strategic balance and national defense, adding that the country had always pursued
a policy of peace while ensuring strong defensive capability.
He said that Pakistan’s armed forces, scientists and national leadership played a historic role
in transforming the country into a strong, stable and secure state capable of defending its
sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He termed Youm-e-Takbeer not merely a historical occasion but a symbol of national self-confidence,
defensive strength and commitment towards a brighter and stronger future.
He also paid rich tribute to the scientists, engineers, brave armed forces personnel and all individuals
associated with the nuclear program whose dedication, sacrifices and unwavering commitment
made Pakistan’s defense unassailable.
