Youth commits suicide after arguing with mother

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2026) A young man committed suicide in Tehkal area here after a reported argument with his mother, police said on Monday.

According to Tehkal Police, the incident occurred on Shaheed Abad Chand Mari Road, where the deceased was identified as Faizan, son of Zahiduddin, a resident of Shaheed Abad Tehkal.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest that the youth allegedly shot himself with a pistol shortly after the altercation.

Police said that all aspects of the case are being examined to determine the exact circumstances. Police have completed the initial legal formalities and launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
