Youth electrocuted to death:

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) A 28-year-old youth was electrocuted to death while attempting to catch a pigeon on the roof of his house in the Hyderabad Town area of Sargodha on Monday.

According to rescue and police sources, the victim, identified as Abdul Qayyum, was trying to catch a pigeon perched on a high-voltage electricity wire passing near the roof of his residence in Street no 07.

During the attempt, he accidentally touched the live wire and died on the spot.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene immediately after the incident and shifted the body to a nearby hospital.

The body was later handed over to the bereaved family members after the completion of legal formalities, the sources added.
