35 couples tie knot in mass marriage ceremony

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) As many as 35 deserving couples wed the lock in a mass marriage ceremony

held at a local marriage hall under the aegis of Madina Foundation. here on

Monday.

The ceremony featured a well-organized collective Nikah event, where renowned

religious scholar Qari Niaz Ahmad solemnized the marriages and led prayers for

prosperous and blessed future of the newlywed couples.

Divisional Commissioner Faisalabad Madam Musarrat Jabeen attended the event

as chief guest.

Addressing the ceremony, she lauded Madina Foundation for its continued contribution

to welfare activities, saying such initiatives provide meaningful support to deserving

families in difficult economic conditions.

She remarked that in an era of rising inflation, collective marriage ceremonies serve

as a great relief for underprivileged families, easing financial burdens while promoting

social welfare and dignity.

Rector The University of Faisalabad (TUF) Prof Dr Amanullah Malik also addressed

the gathering and extended congratulations to the newlywed couples and their families,

wishing them a happy and prosperous married life.

On the occasion, Madina Foundation also distributed dowry packages and special gifts

among the brides while elaborate arrangements were made for meals for more than 1,500

guests attending the ceremony.

Faculty members, deans, and students from various departments of The University of

Faisalabad actively participated in the organizational arrangements, contributing to the

smooth conduct of the event.

Parents of the newlywed couples expressed deep gratitude and emotional satisfaction,

praising Madina Foundation for its generous support and efforts in facilitating the marriages.

They said that the initiative had brought immense relief and happiness to their families.

Later, special prayers were offered for the well-being, prosperity, and peaceful lives of

all newly married couples.
