97 candidates pass PPSC written exam

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) on Saturday announced the results for vacancies of various departments.

According to details, 97 candidates have been declared successful in the written examination for 20 posts of chief officer/municipal officer (regulations) in the Local Government and Community Development Department.

Furthermore, seven candidates have been declared successful for 18 posts of stenographer in the Housing Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Department, Revenue Department, Lahore Development Authority (LDA), and in Deputy Commissioner's Office, Rawalpindi, for urdu shorthand and Urdu typing test.

However, no candidate could pass the written test for one post each of special persons and minority quota.
