AC reviews development work in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Gujrat Abdul Qadeer Zarkoon visited Chenab Toll Plaza to

review progress of ongoing development work at the rest area aimed at

improving facilities for commuters.

During the inspection, the assistant commissioner was given a detailed briefing on various

components of the project. He was informed that soil preparation for plantation had been

completed successfully, while installation of signboards at various locations had also

been finalized to ensure better guidance for visitors.

The officials further apprised that work on laying tuff tiles in the rest area would commence

soon, which would help improve cleanliness and accessibility at the site.

The assistant commissioner expressed satisfaction over the progress and directed the

concerned authorities to ensure timely completion of the project with quality standards so

that improved facilities could be provided to the public.
