ADCR inspects protective embankment

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2026) Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Gujrat Waqas Safdar on Sunday visited the Mahsam–Fateh Pur protective embankment and drainage system to review the monsoon situation and water drainage arrangements.

According to official sources, he was briefed that the drainage system was fully operational and rainwater was being discharged smoothly into Halsey Nullah.

The ADCR also visited Fateh Pur village and adjoining localities, where all areas were found safe with no reports of flooding or waterlogging.

The district administration is continuously monitoring the monsoon situation, while all concerned departments remain on alert to respond to any emergency during the rainy season.
