PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) The repatriation of Afghan refugees has resumed following normalcy at the Pakistan–Afghanistan Torkham Border in Khyber District.
According to official sources on Monday, approximately 35,000 Afghan refugees have returned to Afghanistan over the past 12 days.
Thousands of refugees from across Pakistan are arriving daily at the Landi Kotal Holding Center to complete entry and registration procedures before crossing the border.
Officials stated that the repatriation process had previously been halted due to tensions along the border. However, with the situation now improving, the return of Afghan refugees has restarted in an organized manner.
Authorities are continuing to facilitate the process, ensuring smooth transit and proper documentation for those returning to Afghanistan.
