Afrasiab Zubair stresses youth role in nation-building at mental health conference

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad, Afrasiab Zubair Hindal Monday has said that youth are the most valuable asset of any nation and have the potential to lead the country towards progress through hard work, dedication, and positive thinking.

He expressed these views while addressing as the chief guest at the Mental Health and Leadership Conference 2026 held at Jala Baba Auditorium, Abbottabad.

The conference was organized by Mutasil Pakistan with the aim of raising awareness among youth regarding mental health challenges, highlighting modern-day issues, and promoting their role in building a balanced and strong society.

The Assistant Commissioner emphasized the importance of mental awareness, effective leadership, and a positive mindset among young people, stating that a mentally strong and conscious youth forms the foundation of a stable society.

He said the event served as an effective platform where experts, youth, and leaders discussed mental health issues in detail, while also providing practical guidance and solutions.

He further added that the district administration, in collaboration with the Youth Affairs Department, will continue to support and organize such constructive programs in the future to provide better opportunities and guidance to young people.

The conference featured panel discussions and workshops aimed at providing practical training to participants.

At the conclusion of the event, participants reaffirmed their commitment to building a more aware, strong, and mentally healthy society through collective efforts.
