AKF organizes grand wedding ceremony for 15 couples

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jun, 2026) Al-Khidmat Foundation (AKF) organized grand wedding ceremony for 15 more needy couples from the remote Chitral district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and also provided them goods of daily necessities worth millions of rupees to the newlyweds.

The number of families benefiting from the facility of grand wedding of needy couples under the Asan Nikah project of Al-Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has now increased to 747.

In this connection, a grand wedding ceremony was held at Polo Ground Chitral City under the chairmanship of former District Nazim, Haji Maghfirat Shah.

Former Senior Provincial Minister and Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North) Inayatullah Khan was the chief guest on the occasion.

The ceremony was attended by well-known social figures Haji Hukmanuddin, President of Al-Khidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North), Fazal Mahmood, District Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Wajihuddin, District President Abdul Haq and other dignitaries from the city.

In this grand wedding ceremony, a lavish wedding reception was also organized for more than 300 guests, including relatives and friends of 15 couples, while each couple was also provided with daily necessities worth Rs. 200,000, including 38 items including beds, washing machine, bedside fan, dressing table, sewing machine, iron, water, tea and dinner set.

The entire expenses of this grand wedding ceremony were sponsored by long-time donor of Al-khidmat Haji Hukmanuddin and other philanthropists.
